Aiki Ten Shin Sho Kai International

Ten Shin Sho Kai is a "Sogo Bujutsu", (Composite Martial Arts), School, teaching the traditional martial arts of the Samurai warrior based on the principle of Aiki.

The core art of the School is Aikijutsu: open hand techniques designed to turn the energy of the attacker back on themselves, making use of powerful locks, pins and throws.

As a martial art and as a practical self defence, Aikijutsu is both highly effective and versatile.

Each general class usually consists of both open hand and traditional Japanese weapons practice.

Beginners and new students are always welcome

Aiki Ten Shin Sho Kai has been teaching Japanese martial arts in Brisbane since 1987.

The historical and spiritual roots of its teachings can be traced back to ancient and medieval Japan.

We strive to honour, maintain and develop the skills, traditions and attidudes of our samurai heritage.
